The Diocese of Rapid City published its November 2026 faith formation reflection on Nov. 3, urging readers to make room for God in everyday life, according to the diocese’s announcement.
The reflection, titled “Finding God in the Journey,” was written by Peggy Sue Mutchler, the diocese’s Youth and Adult Ministry Events Program Coordinator, the announcement said. It describes prayer, Scripture, the Eucharist, acts of charity and ordinary daily tasks as ways to keep faith central, according to the reflection.
The piece also encourages readers to pray for others, including people who have died, and connects that practice to the Church’s November remembrance of saints and the souls of the dead, the diocese said.
The announcement also invited readers to subscribe to The Morning Star, a bi-monthly Faith Formation newsletter delivered by email, according to the diocese. It will include summaries of upcoming events, office news and updates, ideas for living the liturgical year, upcoming feast days and celebrations, and a monthly reflection, the announcement said.
